As a continuation from this ([link]) point, I copied the elf preliminary base, and then proceeded to create a refied base. This would serve as a template or base for most of the Elf male characters that I would pixel art. Anti-aliasing has not been done yet, and that would be the next step.

Oh... this is very interesting! My whole life I always worked from the darkest shade (or even mid shade) to the lighter ones, and here you're doing the exact opposite! I'd like also to add that the face (mainly the "T" region and around the eyes) could use a bit of shadowing.

Yes, I too usually do the works as you said. Starting with the darkest and working towards the higlights - or sometime starting with the mid tone and working bothways.

Here, I just wanted to experiment with the other way around. Since we work on CG as opposed to traditional - anything goes.
